Some of you might know that I have a nuisance neighbor upstairs. She is an exotic dancer (
no biggie, I love some dancers. They are gorgeous and they can totally amaze me with pole dancing of theirs) who goes to work late in the afternoon, come home early in the morning and loves to throw a party at 3:00 AM.
Three weeks ago, someone knocked on our door, so I answered. The girl upstairs was standing right in front of me. Nice Maki had to smile. She said,
"Can I ask you a favor? I am going to Miami, so can I leave this envelope with you? My friend "B" will pick it up. He lives next building, kinda big guy? I'll tell him to pick it up from you."she handed me the envelope and I told her "Okay" with a big and nice smile that I could ever fake. I'm so weak. In my head, I was doing the happy dance. She's gonna be gone. We will be free from the noise at last!!! I was saying to myself,"
Miami? How long will you be gone? Are you coming back? Please don't come back."
BTW, I was curious what was in the envelope although I never opened it. It was kind of fishy though. I smelled something dangerous. But anyway, a few days later the guy came by and picked it up. He is huge. I think his arm is twice or maybe three times as big as mine. This is why I don't want to mess with the girl - she knows many scary people.
While the girl upstairs was gone, I was in Heaven. Actually all of us (
JT and my girls) were in Heaven. I didn't have to stay up tossing and turning, worrying about her coming home. I thought for a second, maybe, just maybe she decided to run away from bad guys and I'd never see her again. But man, was I wrong or what.
Last Sunday after dinner at my in-law's, I saw her car in the parking lot. JT and I both said, "
Holy shit! She's back!" So sad, my friends. I was really sad...
Then yesterday, as I left the house to go to grocery shopping with my girls, we heard the neighbor's door shut. We looked and my Ju Ju spotted her locking the door. Ju Ju is a very loving and friendly person. She wants to talk to everybody. She walked back to say "
hello" as I tried to tell her, "
oh.. wait!" The girl said, "
Hi.." and touched Ju Ju's head. Then I don't know what got into her, she started thanking me for taking care of her envelope. I told her no worries (
I so wanted to ask what was in the white envelope).
Then I don't know what got into me, but I said,
"So, you're gone for a while. Did you have good time?" - as in "Did you make good money?" Her reply was
"Yeah, I really like it there. I am going back there soon." My face lit up.
"I bet there are better things to do there, right? (as in "more customer= more $$$) SRQ is small city compare to Miami - it gets boring here sometimes." The girl said,
"I think I will go back and forth and eventually I'm going to move there." "REALLY??" (
YES!! YES!!) Thank you Miami! Thank you so much for being such a fun place!
Honestly, I can't wait for the day she moves. I am sure she is nice, but she has no clue how horrible she can be at night. Clueless.
Anyway, if you don't know the whole story, you can read it

I love your side comments/thoughts. I'd be the exact same way only I'd slip and say what I was thinking instead. Congrats on the soon to come peace and quiet!!
Exciting! I hope she does move away soon! I don't miss having crazy and loud neighbors, I am so glad those days are gone for now. But I do miss making up stories/theories about why the neighbors do this, that or the other thing.
Oh man, for your aske I hope she moves SOON! Neighbors can be such a pain, huh.
Thanks for visitng my blog, I will be back here too-- I love your writing style :)
hahaha I bet you're so happy, I know what you mean, I have a neightboard upstairs too, and omg you can hear every step they take, I hate that!!
I would have so held that envelope up to the light to try and see what was in it.
I hope she moves REAL soon for you!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
I am over from SITS too!
Yea! I was just going to ask you about the noisy neighbor... I hope she is gone alot until she moves. You should still say something to her about the noise, maybe it will encourage her to move sooner instead of later!!! ;)
YAY! Haha...I totally know how that is...I was so ready to move and get away from the crazy guy who lived above us! And I agree..the white envelope is WEIRD.
Oh you know this kind of person...the wind will blow and soon she will go...maybe she will meet a nice man, settle down have a few kids...
Peace - Rene
I've felt your pain before, but I wasn't nearly as nice. I was pregnant, tired, and grumpy and went and yelled at my neighbor, in a non-yelling but very, very MEAN voice. I wish you peace very soon. (stopping by from SITS)
Yikes! Sounds like the pole-dancing neighbor from hell!
dorkys: I wish I had the courage to speak what's inside of my brain. LOL. I wouldn't be pretty, that's for sure!!!
sarah: Yes, exciting isn't it??? I have always been fortunate when it comes to neighbors until we met her. Peace and quiet are the best things!!!
ka1t_lyn: Yup, neighbors can be such a pain, especially the one I have upstairs. It's Hell! LOL. Thanks for swinging by:D
franco: I am so happy! I think it depends on the person. I've had people living upstairs and she is the worst - she has to make noise every step she makes. She can't do anything quietly.
luca: Honestly, JT tried the trick and he couldn't figure out. We're thinking it's cash wrapped with some sort of document. Load of $$$ for what? Fishy, very fishy... LOL
rebecca: I hope so, too! Thanks so much for visiting my blog :D Stay in touch!!!
lipsmacker: Aw thank you, Sweetie for thinking of us:) I know, I should tell her something - I'll definitely try when she moves. ps; I know I have to post the award you've given me.
Colby: I know you understand what it's like! And yes, the white envelope is simply a mystery...
Rene: Oh I would hope wind will blow and she will be gone soon!!! I think that's what she needs - a nice man to take care of her.
tooj: I don't know how I would survive if this happens while I'm pregnant or just having a baby - that would be horrible!!! Thanks so much for stopping by:D
rowena: Aww I miss you and I'm jealous you're in your hometown:) Yes, yes, she is indeed the pole-dancing neighbor from hell!!!
Been there, done that.........*big sigh*
There really isn't anything you can do. If you complain, it just gets worse, and worse....
Tylenol PM, it's my friend!!! Hugs and hopefully she moves really soon!!!!!! And thank you Lord that I don't live in Miami.....
I'm sympathising with you here - but I think you've acted right! She sounds nice enough and you wouldn't want to offend her, even including her noisy coming and goings.
Queenie Jeanie: I'm happy I don't live in Miami, too! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a sweet comment:)
jess: Yes, I'm just hoping to see her go soon:) I am trying to be civil, but there are times I don't want to be nice.. Oh well, we shall see!
hits are rising
Heeey! That's great news!!! I knew how much she bothered you guys, I hope she'll leave you to your peace soon enough. :D
The last time I lived in a downstairs apartment was the LAST time I will ever live in a downstairs apartment. I will sooner live in a grocery cart with blankets than live in a downstairs apartment. Street noise is quieter than the coked-up erratic high heels at 3am over your bedroom. I feel your pain. (and I love the kitty picture!)
I don't remember how I got here but I love your blog...from a fellow hawaiian :)
ryan manning: Oh yes? That would make me super happy!
alev: Hey sweet! I know! All I want is for her to be more understanding of her surroundings.
nanny goats: You can even crack me up here. I'm so glad you understand my pain! :)
the rambler: Oh my goodness, thank you so much for your kind comment. I'm happy that you found me. Aloha:)
