"Mommy You're Married!"

My daughters and I are finally back to our sweet home. The place is still a mess since we have to bring everything back from my mom-in-law's house. But it feels really great be able to sleep in my own bed!!

Anyway, my girls and I were at Publix buying grocery to restock our empty refrigerator. As I walked by the magazine section, I spotted Tom Cruise and screamed for joy. "What is wrong Mama???" asked Ju Ju who was surprised and looked worried. I walked towards the magazine rack, reach my arms and grabbed a magazine..... I pretty much gazed into Tom's smiley face on the cover of Esquire and said, "well, I love him... I love him.." There was this woman standing right next to me was giving me the weird look, but that's okay. That's when I heard my daughter saying, "No, Mommy. You're married! You can't love anyone, but Daddy!!!" - and she was serious. "Aw I can read at least!" - I pleaded. It was more like begging. As soon as I said that, the lady next to me started cracking up! She looked at me and said, "Oh boy, that was good!"

I explained to her how much I love Tom and I've loved him since I was in 4th grade, living in Japan. No matter what happens, he always has a place in my heart. The lady said, "We're all entitled, there is nothing wrong with it. I'm the same way with Johnny Depp!"

On the way to home in the car, "So, who is he? Who is the guy you love?" - Ju Ju asked. I told her he's an actor that I am a big fan of... Ju Ju said, "Oh, actor? Okay, then it's okay mommy, you can like him.."

Thank god, I have a permission from my daughter to profess my love for Tom. But don't you think he looks great in the magazine???

I think I love Tom because he brings me back all the great memories of my childhood; how innocent and how I dreamed of coming the America..
He's the symbol of my American Dream...

Cam & Tom ~ Knight & Day ~

One of my favorite Hollywood actresses is Cameron Diaz.
I adore her sense of style. I find myself copying her all the time. LOL.
She is pretty and cute, and she can be goofy all at the same time.
I mean, don't you love the way she dress?

And that cute wave bye-bye...

Now, to my Tom..
I've talked about him on my blog over and over like a broken record.
I'm sure you're tired of hearing me talking about him.
But, he's my idol.
I can't deny my forever admiration for him.

I would love to meet him before I die....

This is why, I'm so excited to see Cameron and Tom's new film:
"Knight & Day"
They worked together years ago in the film "Vanila Sky".
Have you seen the trailer?
I just love when Tom plays someone who is a bit comical.

This is the stunt between Tom and Cameron. It's pretty cute...

Don't you think this movie looks exciting? I can't wait to see it!!!

I'm Happy For You, Ricky!!!

I was listening to the radio on the way back home from work when DJ announced, "Let's celebrate, Ricky Martin just came out!"
I'm sure many people had already speculated and (sorta) knew that he was gay, but when it's finally confirmed, I was a bit surprised. Yes, it wasn't like "Oh my goodness!!" - but "Oh, he finally did it" kinda way...
You can't deny the fact that many young women including myself found themselves daydreaming about him at least once and thought how gorgeous he was. Come on everybody, remember "Viva La Vida Loca"? He was definitely one of the heartthrobs. It's unfortunate that we still live in the world where people feel they can't be true to themselves. They are so afraid of being rejected by society.
My hairstylis is gay and he's SO proud of being who he is. Yes, he's not a Hollywood star, so the situation might be a little different, but still, he's happy and he's at peace. There is no secret. He's so free in many different ways and I know that's how it should be.
Years ago, my brother in law (my sister's husband) had the opportunity to to have a conversation with Ricky while Ricky was vacationing in Hawaii. My BIL said he couldn't believe how kind and gracious Ricky was - even when he was a mega star at the time, he was so humble and laid back. And I can totally believe that.

I hope Ricky finds happiness and what he's been looking for without any reservation. He's a free man now - he can breathe and be who he is without worrying about other people. He deserves that at least... Congrats Ricky - you did it!!!

My Favorite Hollywood Couple

I wrote several posts before how much I love Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as couple. Rumor has it that my favorite couple Brangelina are split up. I see the headline on every gossip magazines. But I know it's UNTRUE!!! No, I don't have my own sources to confirm it, but they are still much in love - I know!!! I mean, I hope they're okay and going strong because I love them together. I do like Jen, but I think Brad and Angelina are meant to be together - it seems they want to grow old together... And they have six kids together for Christ sake. What do you think?

My recent favorite photo of Brandgelina...

* I second that Perez!

The background music by Celine is kind of annoying, but you can see how lovely they are together.

Have A Dreamy Week!!!

I talked about Ju Ju starting kindergarten and it's been almost a month since her first day at school. she's enjoyed learning new things and making new friends. Before Ju Ju started school, I told myself that I anted to be a very active parent with her school and try to participate as many school events as possible. I though it would be good for my daughter, but also good for me, too. I had always wanted to be an in-class volunteer, so that's what I requested when the teacher asked the parents in writing what we could do to help her with the class work..

A week later, one of Ju Ju's classmate's mother called me. She said she and I were the only ones who said "yes" to the in-class volunteering. She asked me if I was still intersted in helping the teacher in the class. I was very ecstatic.

So, for the past two weeks I have gone to Ju Ju's class from 8:30am ~ 10:30am on Thursday. I help Ju Ju's teacher with many things from preparing class material to watching the students to do class work. And I must admit, I enjoy a lot. Those little ones are precious!! They are so cute and innocent, respectful and still eager to learn. They make me smile.. I think Ju Ju is fortunate to have such great classmates. I can't wait to go back there on Thursday again.

By the way, I saw this clip on my sister's facebook. She found it somewhere else and posted on her page. After seeing this puppy, I had to steal it from my sister and post it on here. Is this puppy cute?? I mean, I can't stand it. I want this dog!!!

JT and I finally saw the movie "State of Play" the other night. And I am telling you, it was a great movie!!! JT and I've seen many movies on Demand lately and we've been lucky that all the movies we saw have been great. But this film had so many twist and I truly enjoyed it. Russel Crowe was great as always, Ben Affleck played a role that's a little different from previous roles and Rachel McAdams was cute. Side note: I think she is one of women who looks better in brunette than blond.
What do you think? Am I right???

Anyway, I give this movie two thumbs up, way up!!! Thanks Jess!

I hope you had a lovely weekend - Have a beautiful week!!!!

The Last Day of Your Life

It all started this morning when I heard the news about the missing Yale student's body being found in the wall at the basement of school laboratory. I get really scared and nervous when I hear about freaky murders or accidents on news. It really makes me think and wonder how I wll die.

Funny thing is, that's all we talked about when I was at work today with the clients, my boss and I. The truth is, no matter how hard we try, there is nothing we can do to change our fate. When the time comes, that's it. And it scares me. I'm not so afraid of dying, but I know I'm afraid of not knowing how I die.

Then I was reading Women's Journal and it featured an article about phobia; what's healthy fear and what's unhealthy fear. I think having fear is a good thing; it alarts you and makes you think before you act - it's like a defense system. But if the fear prevents you from having a normal activity, then it becomes a problem.

Anyway, today was the day I thought about my life - the end of my life to be exact. Do you have any fear, darlings? Are you afraid of dying?

*****

Also, I want to pay a tribute to Patric Swayze who just passed away this evening at the age of 57. Many people loved him in Dirty Dancing (I do admit he could dance!!!). Two of my favorite movies that he was in it were "The Outsiders" and "Ghost" - He was so great it these movies.. I am really sad that he's died - He was definitely one of my idols when I was a young girl.

I Couldn't Help But....

I am sorry, but I had to post this. Chritian Bale. I know I talk about him way too much of recent. But I can't help it. He is just SOOOOOOOO perfect in my book. These photos come from GQ photo shoot - I bought two June issue of GQ just because he was on the cover. Forgive me, JT..

This face..

This was the cover photo for GQ.

Even when he's not doing anything, he looks sexy. Not fair...

His smile is SOOOOOO cute!

WTF?

Yeah! I want him to shoot me - aim at my heart.. LOL

Dance Dance Dance & Salvation Review

Before I begin my main post today, I want all of you to take a look at this clip. I was watching one of my husband's favorite TV show, PTI (Pardon the Interruption) with him on Tuesday evening and we saw this dance off between USF vs. UCONN. Apparently, the game was delayed due to the rain, some of the players from both teams started dancing and it turned out to be a huge dance off. And it is really FUNNY!!!

As they said on PTI, the college baseball teams and its coach members are known to be very strict and they wouldn't let their players to have too much fun prior to the games even during rain delay. However, the coaches from both USF and UCONN let their players enjoy and have their moments. This clip is truly hilarious and gives you some sense of what a good sportsmanship really means. And I thought to myself, if I ever have a baby boy in the future, I would love for him to grow up to be just like those young college kids who know how to dance and how to make people laugh. I hope you get a good laugh watching this clip as much as JT and I did.

Now to the main post today. JT and I went to see {Terminator Salvation} and my honest opinion.... I liked it. I didn't love it, but I thought it was okay. As I've seen all the Terminator Trilogy and I enjoyed every single one of them, I think this Salvation could be the least favorite. I am still on the fense about it; I may have to see it again to really decide whether I dig this film.

Don't get me wrong, I think there are many amazing scenes and special effects and many parts that I liked and enjoyed which made me sit through the whole movie. But I think something was missing and I can't quite figure out what it is that's missing. I think movie had way too much of actions and not a whole lot of storyline. And I like storyline with great action scenes.

I must say, Christian Bale was gorgeous to look at, but his acting in this movie was okay. I think he was better in his other movie {3:10 to Yuma}, but still, he totally had me as John Connor and I am happy that he played the role.

One of the good surprises in this film was the newest type of Terminator, Marcus Wright played by Sam Worthington. I thought Marcus Wright might outplayed John Connor. His presense made the movie so much better and add more story to the film. I really enjoyed seeing this guy. Somehow Terminator films make me cry in the end and this one did make me cry again in the end, too.

Again, this movie was good, just not awesome which was a bit disappointing to say, but I am just being honest. Now, let's review four gorgeous people whom I couldn't stop stare..

Christian Bale & Sam Worthington (I must say my mouth was half open most of the time when they appeared on screen)

Sam Wortington & Christian Bale

Moon Bloodgood plays Blair Williams
She was so pretty and HOT!!

Bryce Dallas Howard plays John Connor's wife, Kate Connor.
Her eyes totally amazes me..

I did love and enjoy to see all these four actors/actresses play their roles - they did great job. And you know, I always love looking at beautiful people, both men and women...
So, my dearies, have you seen Terminator Salvation yet?

My Current Obsession - CB

I've said it many times before that I love Christian Bale. Yes, he had some trouble with the infamous ranting, but he apologized saying there is no excuse for how he acted. Plain prick, that's how he described himself. Indeed he was, but let's move on, folks.

Anyway, the movie {Terminator Salvation} will be in theatres very soon and I'm very, very excited. I talked about it here. I love all the Terminator films. I've seen them all and I've always hoped to see a movie that John Connor becomes the main charactor. Last year when I learned that Christian Bale is doing the part, I almost died!!! And it seems, the movie is so good to be true - check the trailor.

Christian Bale is looking better each day as he age, I think. I don't know why I'm doing a post about him today, but I think it's because he's my current obsession. If he was the leader, I would totally join his "Resistance" and fight against damn Terminators.

So, are you excited about {Terminator Salvation}or is it just me and my husband?

This photo shows why I like him better with beard.. He looks young.

He is sexy.

Your Hotness May Not Last Forever..

the outsiders Pictures, Images and Photos
One of my all time favorite movies is "The Outsiders" - It's classic. I have it on DVD and I watch the film time to time when I feel like reminiscing my old days. Seriously, it was my best years when I was in fourth grade - six grade. Looking at those pretty boys made me wanting to live in America! So I did. LOL.

The Brat Pack - all those actors and actresses in the movies in the 80's had something that many young actors nowadays don't have. I still adore those actors! But you know, they can not stay young forever. Let's see who aged well or not.

OUTSIDERS! Pictures, Images and Photos

THE OUTSIDERS Pictures, Images and Photos
Rob Lowe Pictures, Images and Photos
Rob Lowe - He played the gorgeous Soda Pop. I believe he aged well. He doesn't have the bad boy image anymore, but he totally came back as a good father and husband.

Patrick Swayze Pictures, Images and Photos
Patrick Swayze - this photo is from the set of "Beast". He is sick and still smoking cigarett- I love it. Well, he's almost 60, so he's doing pretty good, not bad at all. I still love his voice.

emilio estevez Pictures, Images and Photos
Emilio!!! I always loved seeing him in movies. Now he's a great director.

Tom Cruise Pictures, Images and Photos
I've said this before; no matter what other people say, I'm a devoted Tom fan. He had me at "hello"...

Matt Dillon Pictures, Images and Photos
Matt Dillon - I love him, next to Tom. He doens't age at all. He is sexy and still got it together. Check out YouTube clip - it's cute...

And then.... Well, I have been watching the new TV seriese {South Land} and there is this cop who is kind of annoying in it. The acting is horrible and really, I am so turned off by him. But then, I know I have seen him somewhere. I definitely know him. But I just couldn't figure out until the third episode and it hit me.
The annoying cop is Thomas C. Howell; yep, the little cute kid Pony Boy from the Outsiders. He is looking rough!! Really, everone. He's only 42. He's younger than my husband, but he looks so much older!! I was disappointed!!

Ralph Macchio Pictures, Images and Photos
Ralph Macchio - Mr. Karate Kid. He's clost to 50, so he does look young, but his hair shows his real age. Do you think he's making any money nowadays?

Now, he has nothing to do with this post, but I thought I should mention how much I have enjoyed watching my rebound TV show "South Land" - it's better than I thought although it will never replace my true love "ER". Ben McKenzie from OC plays a rookie cop and he's great in it. Now I know whey many girls were going ga-ga over him on OC...

So, my friends, do you have any favorite actors from 80's????
