World Cup!!!!!

I can't explain how much I'm excited about World Cup 2010 - I waited for four long years. My youngest Soapy was only three month old when I watched my favorite team Italy winning the Cup four years ago with my sister who was visiting us.

It's not widely popular sports in the U.S., but I grew up watching football (soccer) since I was a little girl. I love the sports not because of gorgeous players (well, maybe a little bit), but the game itself. Many people here in the U.S., say that it's too slow compare to NFL, NBA, MBL and NHL, but I totally disagree. I think soccer is one of the most exciting sports in the whole wide world.

I love listening to the sound of horns throughout the game and I love to scream when the kicker strike the ball. I'm always mesmerised by their footwork and it's really fun game to watch. And don't forget about the gorgeous bodies - they work so hard for that!

Japan made it and I hope they play well. My sister is cheering for Spain which I'm thinking they'll win the Cup.

Kaka - Brazil

One thing I'm really disappointed about is David couldn't play his last World Cup due to the injury. He was in the bench watching his team playing against U.S.A. He looks so unhappy because England didn't win the game - tie game is like losing.
By the way, Annie Levobitz shot these photos of start players before the Cup for Vanity Fair which is on stand now.
So, are you watching World Cup????

I have been waking up at 6a.m. in the morning just to watch the games and anyone who knows me knows that I'm so not a morning person but when it comes to my games I have no need for even an alarm clock to go off, I'm up with the birdies all set & ready to watch the next game :)

Um those photos are amazing and I need to call vanity fair to see why I haven't gotten this issue. I love watching soccer because of the fans, seriously they are intense.

Looks like you've got the World Cup Fevah! Or at least the World Cup Player's Body's Fever, lol.

I am watching the games that Australia is in. They lost their first, so I am hoping they win against Ghana.

Ferrielle: Oh yes, you're not the only one!!! Sounds like you're enjoying the Cup!

Momarchy: LOL. Well, I know Japan won't take the Cup home, so good luck to your team! BTW, my sis also gets up really early like 4am to watch the game:) xoxo

Ma, what's for dinner: Really? I LOVE LOVE the sound of horn. I may be crazy...

molly: Yeah, Annie is a fabulous artist!! Well, U.S. has anoter game, so you should watch it! xo

Jess: My work got this issue last week and I grabbed it before any clients saw it. Great issue! Some fans are kind of scary, but I love them, too:)

Mara: Yes I know, they are so exciting!!

Dionne: You're correct. I love the fact that it happens only once every 4 years. Just great... I know your country lost the 1st game:(
