Ju Ju Is Growing Up

{Look how proud she is}

My oldest daughter Ju Ju graduated from Pre-K last week. I can't believe how fast her school year had gone by - it totally flew!!!

She was so fortunate to have such wonderful teachers and classmates who taught her what it is to be a good student and a friend. Everything she's learned in her class will be a gift to be treasured for the rest of her life. JT and I are so proud of her...

{With her grandma and sister, Soapy}

{with Daddy, Mommy & Soapy}

{JT & I are very proud parents}

By the way, do you remember you wearing gown and cap for your pre-k or kindergarten graduation? Do you still remember your teachers from those young years???

I hope you all had a great weekend!
xoxo

p.s. yes I know, JT needed to smile more - was he nervous??

OMG Maki ...this is the cutest EVER!!! You are the cutest little family in the world. Congrats to Ju Ju!

...I actually remember my preschool graduation : white cap and gowns with a green tassel and we sang Macho Macho Duck on stage with a little choreography. How funny is that?!?!? ...and my favorite teacher was Miss Bianca. lol

Haha! I didn't go to pre-school so I didn't have a graduation, but just yesterday we drove by a park and I remembered taking a field trip there in kindergarten so we definitely remember! Ju Ju looked so cute! What a nice family you have!

Oh Maki, she is so beautiful! It's moments like these that really make you take notice that they are indeed growing up and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Soak it all in.

Aw Maki! The girls are so cute! You and JT aren't too shabby yourselves! :-)

I didn't have a Pre-k graduation. But I did "graduate" from 5th grade to "middle school".

So cute! I love how they have little graduation ceremonies for kids. I don't remember mine but my parents still have the pictures. We didn’t get to wear a cap and gown but it was still fun.

I never went to Pre-K. It wasn't a requisite at the time and was generally used for kids like my brother,who ~really~ needed to get out of the house as he was so hyper and over possessive of mom. Even then, neither one of us had a graduation ceremony for any grade we were in except our senior year. The most we got was a "Congratulations. Promoted to grade (insert grade level here)" on the report cards. I'm pushing 40 really hard and have been out of highschool for over 20 years now and can't remember any teacher beyond Sister Michelle Marie, my 1st grade teacher. Only reason I remember her is because I couldn't stand her.

My hubby's the same way about smiling. I tell him he either smiles or I tickle him. If that doesn't work, I make people keep taking pictures until he does smile. Since he hates having his picture taken, he's learned to smile the first time....usually.
