Have A Lovely Weekend!!!! {and Welcome to My Bedroom}

I have never showed my bedroom before. We've lost many stuff due to the water damage that happened three months ago. But I'm finally getting my condo back to the way it was. It's taken me forever, but I think it's starting to look nice again....

So, this is my bedroom. I like my bed to be always white and I still need to buy a quilt, but oh well, it can wait a bit while.. JT and I love the King size bed, so when we lived in Hawaii and in NJ, we bought two king beds. When we moved back to FL, we decided that we use a Queen until we buy a big house. JT is in NJ working for the most of this year and next year, so it's the perfect size for me right now... Moreover, being able to sleep in your own bed is simply priceless!!!

My side table still needs some work, but I can't sleep without my favorite hearts including the three heart shaped ring holders.... The lamp is from Crate & Barrel and it's my favorite thing in my house...

This is the painting I'm currently working on. My best friend J asked me to paint something for her new place. She loves New Yor, so I decided to paint NY skyline. I can't wait to finish this painting and give it to her. I hope she likes it...
As I slowly re-decorate my condo, I will post pictures of my living/dining room and kitchen as well as my girls room.
Have a lovely weekend everybody!!!!

After the Disaster...

Hello everyone!!! Things are finally getting back to normal since that horrible disaster ten days ago. We're still displaced from our own home to my in-law's and the restoration hasn't started yet, but everything should be repaired and replaced with no problem. We're hoping to move back to our own place within two - three weeks. Thank you so much for all of your kind and warm well-wishes. I'm so graterful of your support and love. We're finally allowed to go back in to our condo by our county, so I immediately grabbed my laptop. I think I'm finally back to the my regular broadcasting:)

Due to the water damage and all the craziness that's been going on in my life and the household, I haven't been able to download all the photos that we'd taken while my husband was home. He left yesterday morning again, but I'm so glad he was here while we almost lost everything in our home! The girls and I miss him already... Today, I decided to show some of my new artwork I did for my friends as well as some of my girls' newest photo....

Have A Lovely Weekend!!

Hello my sweethearts - what are your plans for the weekend? Are you planning anything fun and sweets? I am going to lay by the pool with my daughters and friends tomorrow. We're finally getting the nice weather. Then I will be going out to an art show in town with my co-workers tomorrow evening. I'm very excited!

Me, BFF K & A and A's friend

There is nothing more exciting than having a girls night out with the people I love (and of course spending my days with my daughters make me the happiest, but you know what I mean). Whatever you do, please stay safe and have a lovely weekend!!!!

My Love For Photography...

This is actually a repost (which I've never done before!) from my business blog which I started three months ago and now closed (I decided to combine two blog: business and personal a few weeks ago). Since this was one of my very first posts and not many people had seen it, so I thought what a hey - it wouldn't hurt, right?

Anyways, I constantly try to find the ideas for my paintings and artwork. I grew up surrounded by two professional photographers; my grandpa and my dad. So, watching them taking beautiful pictures had shaped who I am. Yes, I love photography.

A photo can tell a million stories. And it's so magical.

I've seen so many beautiful photography throughout my life and there are many amazing photographers for whom I adore. One of my favorite photographers is Anne Leibovitz. She is so popular that I'm sure most of you've seen her work at least once somewhere in the magazines.

I'm an Anne Leibovitz fan because she's taken the world of photography to the limit and created a world of her own that many of us had never seen before. I always grab the issue of Vanity Fair when it features Hollywood stars that are shot by Anne.

Her photography is a total creation of both art and fantasy - it's just amazingly beautiful. I wonder what it's like to be in front of her camera...

I don't know why I picked this photo of Je Lo & MA - funny, huh?

And another photographer I adomire is Herb Ritts (1952 - 2002), a fashion photographer who had shot so many Hollywood celebrities including Madonna. He shot iconic photographs in black and white - his work was simple and yet powerful. I love his photography and totally miss seeing his work.

One of my all tme favorite music videos is Janet Jackson's "Love Will Never Do" directed by Herb Ritts. He was truly a talented artist. I'm sure you've seen it before. It's the best and the sexiest video ever. Beautiful song = Beautiful video. BTW, Antonio Sabato Jr. was freaking HOT!
